Squamish, and Musqueam land.
Her approach to design and landscape are deeply influenced by her undergraduate education in Indigenous Environmental Studies. This training focuses on the complex environmental-political-historical issues faced by Indigenous communities in their interactions with governments, business, and industry.
D’Arcy has demonstrated expertise in facilitation, nature connection, and community outreach. In a former life, she spent years designing, administrating, and implementing outdoor arts and ecology programming for children, youth, and adults in both urban and wilderness settings.
She brings a keen ethical and political sense to her expression as a designer and facilitator, combined with a deep commitment to play, mischief, and humour.
